Micro M12 Cords
The threaded ends on these cords seal out contaminants and resist coming loose from vibration in tough industrial environments and automated systems while sending power and signal to devices with M12 connections. Poles and keyways on the connector face adhere to standard coding layouts, reducing the chance of mismatching connections during setup.
A-coded cords work with AC and DC sensors, actuators, motors, light curtains, and other devices. They’re also often used to connect equipment to IO Link controllers and within Profibus, DeviceNet, and other fieldbus systems. C-coded cords are primarily used with AC sensors and actuators.
Cords with PVC insulation work well in general purpose applications, but they shouldn’t be used outdoors. While flexible, these cords aren’t as flexible as cords with polyurethane or TPE insulation, making them best for stationary jobs. Cords with polyurethane or TPE insulation resist chemicals and sunlight, so you can use them outdoors. Because they stand up to bending, they’re good for jobs with continuous motion, such as robotics. TPE also resists abrasion and won’t pit or crack from welding runoff.
Use unshielded cords in applications where signal interference isn’t a concern.
When mated, the connectors are IP rated to block out dust and water if briefly submersed.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.

Harsh Environment Micro M12 Cords
TPE insulation protects these cords from some of the toughest industrial conditions, including abrasion, coolants, chemicals, UV rays, and weld slag. Use them in areas with welding, machining, and fluctuating temperatures to send signal and power to M12 proximity switches, valves, and other devices. These cords are flexible and have threaded ends for a secure connection that withstands the movement and vibration of automated lines and robotics. When mated, they’re NEMA or IP rated to seal out dust and water from washdowns. Standardized pole and keyway coding layouts prevent accidental mis-mating during setup.
A-coded cords work with both AC and DC devices. They’re also often used to connect equipment to IO Link controllers and in Profibus, DeviceNet, and other fieldbus systems.
C-coded cords are primarily used with AC devices.
NEMA 6P and IP67 ratings also protect switches from temporary submersion.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their NEMA or IP ratings when not in use.
