About Cam Locks and Latches
Choose between straight and offset cams depending on the distance your latch needs to reach.
Keyed Alike Cam Locks
Use these locks in a 3/4" dia. through hole, which is the most common through-hole size. Choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key. Often used to secure cabinet doors and file drawers, all come with a straight cam and a reversible offset cam to accommodate different latching distances.
Nylon plastic locks are suitable for damp and humid environments. However, they’re easier to drill into or tamper with than metal locks.
