Assembly Lubricants for Rubber and Plastic

No-Residue Mold-Release Lubricants


Aerosol Can	Can

Also known as paintable mold-release lubricants, these lubricants don’t leave a residue, so you can paint or finish the molded part without the need to clean it. Apply them to molds before casting so you can easily remove cast parts and prevent sticking, stretching, and tearing.

Carnauba Wax Additive—Lubricants with carnauba wax are also known as honey wax. Apply with the included sponge applicator.

PTFE Additive—Lubricants with PTFE create a long-lasting film that withstands high temperatures.

Silicone Rubber Additive—Lubricants with silicone rubber have a small amount of silicone for lubricity, but still allow you to paint molded parts without cleaning first. Use these lubricants to release large, intricate, or difficult-to-release parts.

Zinc Alloy Additive—Lubricants with zinc resist dust and can be used with ceramics.

Molykote 316 Silicone Release Spray—Use Molykote 316 Silicone Release Spray with metal.

Molykote 7 Release Compound—Use Molykote 7 Release Compound with plastic and rubber. It resists drying and oxidation.

FDA Compliant 21 CFR 175.300 and NSF/ANSI 51—Lubricants that are FDA 21 Compliant CFR 175.300 and/or meet NSF ANSI 51 can have direct contact with food.
