    Install these tips, also known as centerline gauges, onto the jaws of electronic, dial, and vernier calipers to measure the center-to-center distance between two holes. A 60° conical shape allows the tips to fit snugly into holes.

    Calipers for Measuring Center-to-Center

    Find the exact distance between the centers of two holes without calculating their diameter. The tapered tips of the jaws stay centered in holes and bores for accurate measurements every time. Extend or shorten one jaw to measure parts with uneven surfaces, such as flanged bearings.
    With an LCD display, these calipers give instant measurements—no need to count graduations. Swap between inch and metric or set the position to zero, all with the press of a button. You don't need to reset the zero point since they retain their position when turned off, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning.
