Our most economical magnets with built-in durability. A protective case shields them from cracks and chips caused by bumps and drops. Ceramic magnets deliver a cost-effective balance of corrosion and temperature resistance. However, they are not as strong as rare earth magnets.

Warning: Maximum pull ratings are based on direct contact with rust-free, unpainted iron surfaces. Variations in material condition will significantly reduce these ratings. Do not use for lifting over people.

Aluminum Case—Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, this case is best for applications with weight limitations. However, the magnetic strength is lower than steel.

Plastic Case—Lightweight, nonconductive, and naturally rust resistant.

Zinc-Plated Steel Case—Withstands occasional exposure to moisture.

Nickel-Plated Steel Case—Offers similar corrosion resistance to chrome plating to withstand salt water and chemicals. However, nickel is more likely to wear off over time.

Cadmium-Plated Steel Case—More rust resistant than zinc-plated steel for use in wet and outdoor environments.

Alnico U-Channel Magnets

Through Length

Mount flush in everything from tool holders to fixture plates. These magnets are encased in a channel that concentrates the magnetic field on one side, creating a strong hold on flat surfaces. They're also heat resistant, so they won’t melt, deform, or lose magnetic strength in temperatures up to 1020° F.

Magnetized Through Length—Magnetized end to end, these magnets channel magnetic energy on the longest axis. This orientation creates deep field penetration and directional pull.
