Cleaned and bagged in areas with low levels of particulates, these powder-free gloves are safe to use in clean rooms. They help you keep skin oil, microbes, and dust from contaminating your work. The thicker the gloves, the better they resist wear.
Chemical Resistant—Chemical-resistant gloves protect against spills, splashes, and other brief contact with chemicals.
Static Control—Static-control gloves drain static electricity to prevent damage to sensitive electronic parts.
Latex (Powder-Free)—Latex gloves are the most form-fitting, so they’re the best choice for detailed work.
PVC (Powder-Free)—PVC gloves are an economical choice for jobs that don’t require high touch sensitivity. They’re moderately durable.
Nitrile (Powder-Free)—Nitrile gloves are a good alternative to latex when allergies are a concern. They also resist oil.
Neoprene/Latex/Nitrile (Powder-Free)—Neoprene/latex/nitrile gloves have excellent chemical resistance, and they won’t limit your dexterity. They’re often used for assembling circuits or cleaning components in acid baths.
Polyisoprene Rubber (Powder-Free)—Polyisoprene gloves are nearly as form-fitting as latex gloves, and they’re more durable. They let you feel finer details than nitrile gloves.
Neoprene (Powder-Free)—Neoprene gloves resist acids and other harsh chemicals.
Smooth—Smooth gloves allow for more precise handling than textured gloves.
Textured—Textured gloves give you a stronger grip than smooth gloves.
EN 374-1 Type A—Gloves that meet EN 374 are rated to European standards for protection from chemicals. Gloves with a Type A rating resist chemical permeation for at least 30 minutes. A Type A rating means they are tested against twice as many chemicals as gloves with a Type B rating.
EN 374-1 Type B—Gloves that meet EN 374 are rated to European standards for protection from chemicals. Gloves with a Type B rating resist chemical permeation for at least 30 minutes.
EN 388—Gloves that meet EN 388 are rated to European standards for resistance to abrasions, cuts, tears, or punctures.
Sterility Assurance Level (SAL)—Gloves with a sterility assurance level (SAL) are irradiated with gamma rays to ensure sterilization.

Dip components into acid baths, assemble circuits, and take on other clean room tasks involving hazardous chemicals. Made from a blend of neoprene, latex, and nitrile, these gloves withstand harsh substances such as hydrochloric acid and isopropyl alcohol. They’re flexible enough to let you handle small parts with control. Cleaned and bagged in an environment with low levels of particulates, these gloves won't contaminate your clean room. Plus, they're powder-free and unlined, so they won't shed particles either.
All meet EN 374, a European safety standard for protection from chemicals. Rated Type B, they resist chemical permeation for at least 30 minutes. They also meet EN 388 standards for resistance to abrasions, cuts, and tears.

    Silicone Rubber

Often worn when stress-testing semiconductors—where parts go from freezer to furnace—these gloves won't contaminate your clean room. They’re cleaned and bagged in environments with low levels of particulates. These gloves also give you more dexterity when handling items than the basic pinching you get with mitts. Plus, they're ambidextrous, so you can wear them on either hand to extend their life.
Aramid Fabric—Aramid fabric gloves have a wider temperature range than silicone rubber gloves. Even at 1000° F, they won’t burn or leave a residue. These gloves should only be used to handle dry objects.
Silicone Rubber—Silicone rubber gloves meet EN 374 standards for protection against chemicals. And unlike aramid fabric gloves, they can be used to handle wet material.

    Style B

Cleaned and bagged in environments with low levels of particulates, these gloves won't contaminate your work area.
Polyurethane Rubber-Coated Cotton/Nylon Fabric—Polyurethane-coated gloves are thin and lightweight. They’re good for assembling small parts, handling fragile materials, and other jobs that require touch sensitivity.
Polyurethane Rubber-Coated Dyneema Fabric—Polyurethane-coated gloves are thin and lightweight. They’re good for assembling small parts, handling fragile materials, and other jobs that require touch sensitivity.
Nitrile-Coated Aramid Fabric—Nitrile-coated gloves resist oil and chemicals.
Style A—Style A gloves are knitted—the higher the knitting gauge, the thinner the glove. Thinner gloves let you move more freely and feel finer details; thicker gloves are more durable. These gloves have a rubber coating for a secure grip and an extra layer of protection without restricting movement.
Style B—Style B gloves keep static electricity from building up and damaging sensitive electronic equipment. Rated to ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards, they’re safe to use with components that could be damaged by any amount of voltage. You can wear these gloves during electronics manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, and other jobs where static control is essential.
ANSI/ISEA 105—Gloves that meet ANSI/ISEA 105 are rated for various forms of protection, such as cut, abrasion, or puncture resistance. The higher the rating, the greater the protection.

    Extreme-Temperature Clean Room Mitts

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Gloves. Extreme-Temperature Clean Room Mitts.
Handle everything from frozen samples to freshly soldered circuit boards without contaminating your clean room. These mitts protect your hands between -75° and 390° F. They don’t shed fibers, so your clean room stays clean. Compared to gloves, they’re easier to slip on and off—and they can even be worn over gloves—but aren’t a good choice when you need high dexterity. These mitts meet EN 374 standards for protection against chemicals.

Protect objects in your clean room from skin oil and other contaminants when dexterity is essential and full hand coverage is not needed. Cleaned and bagged in clean environments, these powder-free, unlined cots won't contaminate your work area.
Static Control—Static-control cots minimize the buildup of electrostatic charge to protect sensitive equipment from damage. The lower the surface resistivity, the faster and more effectively cots drain electrical charge.
Latex—Latex cots are the most form fitting. They’re good for jobs that require tactile precision.
Buna-N—Buna-N cots are a good alternative for those concerned with latex allergies.
Textured—Textured cots provide a better grip than smooth cots.

Keep dust, microbes, and other particles on clothing or skin from contaminating clean spaces. These sleeves are cleaned and individually bagged in a clean room to keep them from shedding lint or dust. The Tyvek polyethylene fabric is made of heat- and pressure-bonded fibers for sleeves that are both soft and strong. They hold up to occasional contact with nonhazardous liquids, such as water and paint spray.
