Clevis Pins
An alternative to bolts and rivets, these pins lock in place with a cotter pin. Choose a clevis pin and add your own cotter pin, or select a clevis pin that includes a reusable hairpin cotter pin.
Steel pins have good strength. Heat-treated pins have additional strength and hardness, making them less likely to bend, break, and wear than pins that aren't heat treated. Galvanized pins are the most corrosion resistant steel pins.

Precision Clevis Pins
These pins combine the locking capabilities of a clevis pin with the precision diameter of a dowel pin for a tight fit. Easier to install and remove than bolts or rivets, they lock in place with a cotter pin (sold separately).
18-8 stainless steel and black-oxide 18-8 stainless steel pins offer a balance of strength and corrosion resistance. They may be mildly magnetic.

Loop-Grip Clevis Pins
A large loop handle makes these pins easy to grip. Pins come with a lanyard and hairpin cotter pin or chain and locking ring for quick installation and removal. The lanyard or chain keeps the pin from getting lost when disassembled.
Steel pins offer good strength. Pins with a zinc yellow-chromate plated finish have some corrosion resistance.
17-4 PH stainless steel pins are strong, magnetic, and resist corrosion.

Heavy Duty Locking Clevis Pins
Often used to connect equipment to a drawbar in towing applications, these rugged pins have a welded solid steel retainer. The hinged handle and lock prevent disengaging.
