    Quick-Mount Ball Bearings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Ball Bearings. Quick-Mount Ball Bearings, Clamp-On Shaft Mount.

    Clamp-On Shaft

    Mount

Slip onto a shaft and secure with the turn of a screw. You don't need any special tools to mount these bearings.
Clamp-On Shaft Mount—The clamp tightens around the shaft for a strong 360° grip. These mounts attach more securely than set screws to reduce vibration. Plus, there aren't any screws pressing into the shaft, so it stays free from damage. Also known as a concentric lock.
Black-Oxide Steel—Strong and wear resistant. However, these bearings are best for dry environments since moisture will cause them to rust.
Shielded—The balls are covered just enough to keep out large particles while allowing air to pass through and dissipate heat.
Sealed—The best choice for dirty environments. A barrier seals out dust so it won't gunk up or wear down the balls. However, these bearings retain the most heat since air can't flow through.
ABEC Rating—Bearings with an ABEC rating meet industry tolerance standards established by the Annular Bearing Engineers Committee (ABEC). They're rated on a scale from 1 to 9. The higher the rating, the tighter the tolerance. Bearings rated ABEC 1 or 3 are precise enough for most applications. If your application consistently runs at high speeds or requires high accuracy, consider bearings rated ABEC 5 or higher, since they generate less friction and heat.

    Clamp-On Shaft

    Mount

You don't need any special tools to install these bearings in food production areas. Slip them onto a shaft and secure with the turn of a screw for easy mounting. Greased with NSF-registered H1 lubricant, these bearings are safe to install on food-processing equipment, such as conveyor belts, so long as they don’t directly touch the food. They're IP69K rated, so they'll stand up to the hot water from a pressure washer when cleaning your facility at the end of the day.
Clamp-On Shaft Mount—The clamp tightens around the shaft for a strong 360° grip. These mounts attach more securely than set screws to reduce vibration. Plus, there aren't any screws pressing into the shaft, so it stays free from damage. Also known as a concentric lock.
Corrosion-Resistant Nickel-Plated Steel—These bearings resist mild chemicals, such as the ammonia in cleaning solutions, while maintaining the strength of steel. The nickel coating can wear or chip over time, though. If it does, the steel beneath will rust quickly.

    Mounted Ball Bearings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Mounted Bearings. Mounted Ball Bearings.
Smoother than smooth—the balls inside these bearings roll nearly friction-free. The sturdy housing bolts down to support shafts as they turn.
Lubricate regularly to keep your bearing in tip-top shape. Bearings with seals and shields keep lubricants in and contaminants out, and come packed with grease. Open bearings require initial lubrication and offer less protection against dust and debris.
Powder-Coated Cast Iron Housing—A rugged iron base coated in thick powder that protects against water, mild detergents, and oil. However, if the coating is scratched or chipped, the underlying iron may rust.
Clamp On—Tighten the clamping screw to close the collar around your shaft for a secure, mar-free grip. The collar centers the shaft, decreasing vibration and allowing for higher speeds than set screws. Also known as concentric lock bearings.
Sealmaster—Famous for exceptional sealing, Sealmaster bearings include a signature three-part seal in the inner ring. This design blocks out gritty debris and purges old grease to extend the life of the bearing.
SKF—Manufactured in Europe with a strong focus on precision. The more precise the bearing, the more efficiently it will run.
Misalignment Capability—Bearings compensate for as much shaft misalignment as the degree listed. This extends the life of the bearing and protects against wear if shafts are slightly askew.

Food-and-Beverage Permanently Lubricated Tapped-Base Mounted Ball Bearings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Mounted Bearings. Food-and-Beverage Permanently Lubricated Tapped-Base Mounted Ball Bearings.
Reduce upkeep on your food line with bearings that never need lubrication. On startup, an oil-infused solid polymer releases the optimal amount of food-safe, NSF-registered lubricant—never too much or too little. The embedded oil never leaks out, and seals keep dust and contaminants from sneaking in. Install them into conveyors, packaging systems, and other food processing applications where contact with ingredients is rare but possible. The balls roll nearly friction-free within a sturdy housing to support shafts as they turn. These bearings mount from the bottom through threaded holes. With a narrow profile, they're a good fit for cramped spots where multiple shafts are mounted close together.
Plastic-Coated Cast Iron Housing—Combines the structural strength of cast iron with the natural rust resistance of plastic.
Clamp On—Tighten the clamping screw to close the collar around your shaft for a secure, mar-free grip. The collar centers the shaft, decreasing vibration and allowing for higher speeds than set screws. Also known as concentric lock bearings.

Smoother than smooth—the balls roll nearly friction-free within a sturdy housing to support shafts as they turn. These bearings mount from the bottom through threaded holes. With a narrow profile, they're a good fit for cramped spots where multiple shafts are mounted close together.
Lubricate regularly to keep your bearing in tip-top shape. These bearings come packed with grease and sealed to block out dust and contaminants.
Misalignment Capability—Bearings compensate for as much shaft misalignment as the degree listed. This extends the life of the bearing and protects against wear if shafts are slightly askew.

The housing mounts in place with a two-bolt flange, the most common type of flanged bearing.
316 Stainless Steel Housing—The most corrosion-resistant metal we offer, these housings hold up to harsh chemicals and salt water.
Clamp On—Tighten the clamping screw to close the collar around your shaft for a secure, mar-free grip. The collar centers the shaft, decreasing vibration and allowing for higher speeds than set screws. Also known as concentric lock bearings.
