Like gym mats, these guards have a foam core that compresses to soften minor bumps and scrapes. They’re slimmer than plastic guards, so they fit into tight aisles and other narrow spaces. However, they don’t offer as much protection from direct forklift hits as plastic and steel guards. Their bright yellow color makes them easy to spot. Secure them in place with a hook and loop strip along the side.
