Liquid-Tight Stainless Steel Cord Grips

Prevent liquid from seeping into enclosures in highly corrosive environments. These cord grips are stainless steel, so they resist corrosion from moisture and mild chemicals, such as the ammonia in cleaning solutions. Sealed with an O-ring, they're IP and NEMA rated to keep out dust and water, even during washdowns.

A zinc-plated steel or nickel-plated brass locknut anchors these cord grips in the knockout. For maximum corrosion resistance, replace zinc-plated steel locknuts with stainless steel ones.

Wraparound Cable Entry Panels

Attach a cable entry panel to cord without removing connectors and rewiring. These cable entry panels have a two-piece design to fit around cables with connectors. Choose a housing and then select inserts (sold separately). Inserts have a slit, eliminating the need to thread cable through them.

Split-Compression Liquid-Tight Plastic Cord Grips

Secure Ethernet cords with RJ45 connectors and other cords that are already installed. These cord grips have a split compression seal that wraps around cords without having to push the connector through. IP and NEMA rated, they block out dust and water, even during washdowns. A locknut anchors them in the knockout.

When choosing a size, make sure the body ID is large enough for the end of your cord to fit through with the connector.

Continuous-Flex Snap-In Liquid-Tight Plastic Cord Grips

Reduce the time it takes to seal and secure cords that repeatedly bend. These cord grips don't require any fastening—just push them into the knockout and they snap into place. However, they’re not as secure as threaded cord grips. Often used in robotics, they have an extension that wraps around cords close to the connection point, where most damage occurs. The extension flexes gently to prevent sharp bends and kinks, prolonging cord life. IP rated, these cord grips seal out dust and water.
