Nonsparking Wire Rope

Made of phosphor bronze to inhibit sparks that can ignite flammable dusts, liquids, or vapors. Use this wire rope everywhere from chemical plants to oil refineries to avoid a fire or explosion.

Warning: Not for overhead lifting.

Wire Rope Construction—Strand cores are more crush and impact-resistant than fiber cores, but fiber core ropes bend more easily and absorb shock.

Preformed—With each wire shaped into a spiral before being twisted onto the rope, they maintain their shape when cut. This keeps them from unraveling or poking equipment and users.

Extra-Flexible Nonsparking Wire Rope

A flexible option you can safely use around hazardous materials. Made of phosphor bronze, this wire rope inhibits sparks that could ignite flammable dusts, liquids, or vapors. With more than twice as many individual wires as standard options, it's easier to bend and wind onto winches and drums without wear.
