Clean Room Disinfectants


Aerosol Can	Spray Bottle	Jug

Kill bacteria and viruses on hard, nonporous surfaces in clean rooms. These disinfectants leave minimal residue and come bagged to prevent particle contamination.

Sterile—Treated with gamma radiation to remove all microorganisms. These disinfectants are used in environments where disinfection is critical to product safety, such as pharmaceutical manufacturing.

General Purpose—Effective for most clean room disinfecting applications.

Ethanol—Comparable in effectiveness to isopropyl alcohol but have a less pungent odor. However, these disinfectants leave slightly more residue.

Isopropyl Alcohol—The most common chemical in disinfectants for clean rooms. They leave minimal residue and evaporate quickly.

Hypochlorous Acid—Unlike alcohol-based disinfectants, these are non-irritating and not flammable but evaporate more slowly. They’re made from ionized salt water.

Clean Room Wet Wipes

These wipes are moistened with isopropyl alcohol and deionized water. Made of a polyester/cellulose blend, they’re both strong and absorbent.

70% Isopropyl Alcohol Concentration—Wipes with 70% isopropyl alcohol have more disinfecting power than those with 6% isopropyl alcohol.

Folded Clean Room Wipes

Unlike flat wipes, these double-folded clean room wipes have several sides for wiping. Since they’re folded, they can be pulled one at a time from clean room wipe dispensers to reduce cross contamination and waste. These wipes are cleaned and double bagged in a clean room for sterility and are low linting, so they won’t shed fibers that could contaminate your clean room. They’re made of a polyester/cellulose blend that combines polyester’s strength with cellulose’s absorbency. Wipes are autoclavable.
