    Light Duty Adjustable-Length Dollies

    Also known as appliance dollies, these dollies are used in pairs to support loads of varying sizes. Each half of the dollies has a support with eight rollers at both corners. Loosen the wingnut and slide the ends to adjust. A nonmarring rubber surface on the top of the supports grips loads. Their polypropylene wheels are lightweight and work on smooth surfaces.

    With an oversized platform and wheels designed for easy turning, these dollies can handle heavy pallet loads. Made of aluminum, they are lightweight like plastic but strong like steel. Center wheels are mounted lower than the end wheels for easier pivoting, but can be mounted level using an extra set of axle holes to prevent tilting. Their phenolic wheels are nonmarking and roll best on smooth surfaces, but can be noisy.

    A rustproof aluminum platform and open corners for easy drainage make these dollies a good fit for food-service applications, plus they meet NSF/ANSI standards for food equipment. Platforms are flush in front for easy loading but lipped on three sides to keep items from sliding off. Dollies have two swivel and two rigid casters with nonmarking, polyurethane tread-on-core wheels that absorb shock on rough floors and in areas with debris.

    Style D

    A second set of axle-mounted wheels offers better load support and stability to handle heavy loads over longer distances. Trucks cradle the drum during transport and are designed to stand upright on their own. Load wedges slide under the drum for easy loading. All trucks have a rim catch that clamps to the top of the drum to secure it.
    Spring-Loaded Rim Catch—Spring-loaded rim catches automatically clamp to the drum as it's tilted.
    Aluminum—Aluminum trucks are strong, spark resistant, and lighter in weight than steel trucks.
    Style C—Styles A and C have standard handles with grips as well as a loop handle for better control.
    Style D—Style D have a hand brake for more control on ramps and inclines. They have standard handles with grips as well as a loop handle for better control.
    Rubber Wheel—Rubber wheels absorb shock, are quiet, and roll over smooth or rough surfaces.
    Pneumatic Wheel—Pneumatic rubber wheels provide a cushioned ride over the roughest surfaces, such as gravel.
