About Countersinks
Countersinks cut a cone-shaped opening to install screws and rivets flush with a surface or hold workpieces between centers on a lathe. They can also be used for chamfering and deburring.

Reversible Tamper-Resistant Torx Bits

Turn two fastener sizes with one reversible bit—remove and replace to change the size. These bits have an opening at the tips to accommodate the pin in the recess of tamper-resistant Torx screws. Also known as insert bits, they are used in hand drivers.

Reversible Square Bits

Turn two fastener sizes with one reversible bit—remove and replace to change the size. Designed for screws with a square recess in the head, these are also known as Robertson bits. Also called insert bits, use in hand drivers.

Reversible-Bit Screwdriver/Nutdrivers

Bits have a different tip at each end and snap into the shaft. A ball detent holds the bit in place. To use as nutdriver, remove the bit and turn fasteners with the shaft, which is also reversible.
Ultra-grip drivers have a multicomponent handle that provides comfort and the best possible grip for achieving maximum torque. For those without a voltage detector, bits turn four screw sizes and the shaft two external hex sizes. Those with a voltage detector safely test for AC voltage without contacting live wires. Light and sound indicators alert you when over 50 volts AC is detected. The detector is attached to the tool’s handle; remove it from the handle to use it on its own. Bits turn eight screw sizes and the shaft three external hex sizes.
Cushion-grip drivers offer comfort and some slip resistance. Bits turn eight screw sizes and the shaft three external hex sizes.

Stubby Reversible-Bit Screwdriver/Nutdrivers

When working in tight spaces, these short drivers fit where others can't. Bits have a different tip at each end and snap into the shaft. A ball detent holds the bit in place. To use as nutdriver, remove the bit and turn fasteners with the shaft, which is also reversible and turns two external hex sizes. Drivers have a cushion grip for comfort and some slip resistance.

Quick-Change Combination Countersinking Drill and Screwdriver Bit Sets

Fasten differently sized screws with these sets. They save you the effort of switching three separate bits in and out of a power tool, instead letting you flip between a countersinking drill and a screwdriver bit with a single hand. You can also attach your own countersinking drills and screwdriver bits as long as they have a 1/4” hex shank.
Countersinking drills have an 82° angle, allowing inch-sized flat- and oval-head screws to sit flush with the surface.

Quick-Change Combination Countersinking Drill and Screwdriver Bits

Drill, countersink, and drive screws without switching three separate bits in and out of your power tool. With a single hand, flip between drilling countersunk holes and driving screws. The countersinking drill and screwdriver bit are secured with set screws, so you can switch them out for any bits with a 1/4” hex shank.
The countersinking drill has an 82° angle, allowing inch-sized flat- and oval-head screws to sit flush with the surface.
