With no fixed diameters, one bit cuts holes of almost any size within a range. Slip a washer (not included) over the bit to set your diameter. The washer acts as stop while drilling, so choose a washer with an inner diameter that matches your desired hole size. Wear and heat resistant, these high-speed steel bits are versatile for use on a range of materials.
Black Oxide—The dark finish increases wear resistance and reduces friction to improve chip flow, so these bits can last 50% longer than uncoated bits.

Keep multiple bits on hand to precisely drill just about any hole with high torque. Made with an oversized shank and hardened high-speed steel, the bits in these sets are built to handle the power of your impact wrench without snapping. A built-in pilot has a stepped tip that bites material immediately, centers the tool, and prevents slipping. Shaped like a cone, these bits smoothly increase hole size without jumping to a fixed diameter, so you can stop when you want. This makes them ideal for fitting glands, bushings, and other connections in electrical boxes and enclosures that require a precise fit. Also known as cone drills.
Drill by feel or slip a washer (not included) over the bit to act as a stop—choose an ID that matches the hole size you want. If you’re drilling to the bit’s maximum diameter, a safety collar stops the bit at that size.
You’ll need a VersaDrive chuck (sold separately) to install these bits into your impact wrench. You can also get chucks for impact drivers and magnetic-base drills (both sold separately). For jobs that don’t require the torque of an impact tool, you can fit these bits directly into a 1/2" chuck on a standard power drill.
Titanium Nitride (TiN) Coated—Drill at higher speeds and last longer than uncoated and oxide-coated bits, especially on tough materials like hardened steel and nickel.

Use high torque to drill a wide range of hole sizes with just three bits. Made with an oversized shank and hardened high-speed steel, the bits in these sets are built to handle the high torque of your impact wrench without snapping, even in large holes and hard materials such as stainless steel. Since your wrench absorbs kickback, it won’t fight you if the bit snags, reducing wrist strain and fatigue over long jobs.
The split point starts cutting on contact, so you don’t need to drill a pilot hole. The steps have progressively larger diameters—the deeper you drill, the bigger the hole. Count the steps as you drill to achieve the proper size. These bits also deburr as they cut, so they’re often used for thin materials such as sheet metal and plastic panels.
