Create flat-bottomed holes, so your screw heads sit flush, recessed, or slightly raised.

    Drill-Point Counterbores

Skip a step when installing screws in metal. With a sharp point on the tip, these counterbores drill a pilot hole topped with a flat recess for the screw head. That's faster and more accurate than switching to a counterbore in between passes with your drill bit.

    Impact Wrench Drill Taps

Drill and thread holes in a single fluid step that’s 15 times faster than by hand. Made with an oversized shank and hardened high-speed steel, these drill taps are built to handle the high torque of your impact wrench to cut material quickly. A built-in pilot starts the hole while the taper chamfer gradually engages material for clean, accurate threads. Your wrench’s rapid hammering helps break and clear chips as you cut, so you don’t need to pause and reverse. This also means these drill taps are less likely to jam on chips and snap. They’re a great choice for quickly preparing threaded through holes in thin materials.
You’ll need a VersaDrive chuck (sold separately) to install these drill taps into your impact wrench. You can also get chucks for impact drivers (sold separately).
Titanium Nitride (TiN)-Coated Hardened High-Speed Steel—Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated taps resist heat and wear better than uncoated taps, letting them last up to twice as long.
Spiral Flute—Taps with spiral flutes keep chips clear by drawing them back toward the tap and out of the hole.
