Save time when you need to change drill taps frequently. The grooved shank snaps directly into drills, power screwdrivers, and other tools that accept a _1/4" hex shank. However, these taps aren’t rated for impact drivers. With a drill bit point to drive into the workpiece, they can drill and tap holes in a single step. They’re made of high-speed steel and are for use on most metal and plastic.

These taps have a plug chamfer with 3-5 chamfered cutting threads, so they’re suitable for start-to-finish tapping.
