    Dust Hoods for Angle Grinders

Connect these dust hoods to your vacuum system to contain and remove dust and fine particles while grinding or cutting. They fit all major brands of angle grinders, including DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Makita. These dust hoods are OSHA compliant for point-of-origin dust containment. To attach these dust hoods to a standard 2" dia. vacuum hose, they either include an adapter hose or you can add a vacuum adapter (sold separately).

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Dust Hoods. Sawdust Hoods for Miter Saws.
Contain the sawdust flying off your miter saw for quick cleanup. These hoods funnel sawdust toward a vacuum port to keep your air and workstation clean. Connect them to a shop vac, dust collector, or vacuum system.
For easy storage and transport, these hoods fold flat and slide into a carrying bag. They’re spring-loaded, so they pop back up into shape when you’re ready to use them again. And no extra parts required for installation—everything you need to attach these to your workstation is included. These hoods fits miter saws up to 12" in diameter. Use them only when cutting wood. Do not use when cutting metal.

    Dust Collector Filters

Move large quantities of air and dust through longer runs of pipe than the drum-mount dust collectors. These powerful units separate most waste material in the airflow and deposits it into a dust storage barrel (sold separately). Because less dust passes through the blower, there is less wear on it. Motor and fan assemblies are easily detached for maintenance.
These dust collectors are compatible with a variety of motor starters (sold separately), to facilitate your specific voltage needs.
Filter Area—Filter area is the number of square feet of fabric area of an inflated bag. Size listed does not include filter assembly.
Dust Collector Filters—If you wish to recycle the air, one of these filter assemblies should be used to collect fine particles not separated by the collector. They have an attached drum to eliminate extra handling of waste material.

Slide these gates open and closed to control airflow to sections of duct. Unlike dampers, which regulate flow, blast gates turn flow on or off. They’re commonly used in dust collecting systems, either to direct suction or collect dust in a specific section of duct.

Salvage reusable media from the dust pulled out of your blasting cabinet. These dust collectors/separators have a two-stage filtration system that separates media from dust and debris better than standard dust collectors. This helps you reclaim more of your media to recycle it back into your cabinet. It also ensures the media that you recycle is clean before you blast your parts with it again. Retrieve your cleaned media from the clean-out port on the bottom. They work with all types of abrasive media.
For 1 1/2 cu. ft. Maximum Cabinet Volume—Collectors/separators for cabinets up to 1 1/2 cu. ft. are compatible with small, benchtop abrasive blasting cabinets.
For 27 cu. ft. Maximum Cabinet Volume—Collectors/separators for cabinets up to 27 cu. ft. would be overkill for small units. Use them with large, freestanding abrasive blasting cabinets.

The cartridges in these collectors are 98% efficient for particles 1 micron and larger—great for picking up fine dust such as graphite and talc. Cartridges are cleaned automatically each time the dust collector shuts off and are enclosed to minimize contamination from particles that pass through the collector.
An automatic shaker mechanism cleans the filter media and drops particles into a drawer for easy collection and disposal.
Cannot Be Sold to California—Dust collectors cannot be sold to California due to energy efficiency requirements.
Dust Collector Filters—Replacement filter cartridges (sold separately) go on the underside of these dust collectors.

Remove the dust from your blasting cabinet for a clearer view and better performance. These dust collectors are not for use with baking soda. Add a dust separator to extend the life of your filter—it captures blast media and debris before they reach the collector.
Filter Bag—Collectors with a filter bag are used to trap larger particles, such as paint flakes and broken-down blast media.
Filter Cartridge—Collectors with a filter cartridge have a higher efficiency than bag filters, so they can trap fine dust particles.

    Dust Collector with

    Dolly (Drum and Dolly

    Not Included)

Mount these powerful units on a steel open-head drum (not included) for two-stage collection. In the first stage, larger particles fall into the drum; in the second stage, smaller particles go into the filter bag, resulting in less wear on the blower and filter bag.
Note: Not for use with combustible metal dust, including aluminum, magnesium, and titanium.
450 ft³/min @ 0 in. H₂O—450 ft³/min dust collectors require the adapter kit (sold separately).
Hazardous Locations—Hazardous location dust collectors have a CSA Certified explosion-proof motor that is rated IP44 for protection in wet environments. UL standards also apply to the motor.
Filter Area—Filter area is the number of square feet of fabric area of an inflated filter bag.
