Also known as drop-warp and bolt-hole tape, they have openings along the center to accommodate bolts and rivets. Use them on metal flanges, as well as on oven, furnace, and boiler doors. They resist grease, oil, hydraulic fluid, and solvents.

Adhesive Backing—Adhesive-back seals will stay in place until you permanently secure them, making them the best choice when installing in confined spaces.

High-Temperature Ultra-Conformable Slotted Rope Seals

These loosely-knitted fiberglass fabric seals are more flexible and conformable than High-Temperature Slotted Rope Seals. Designed to withstand extreme environments, these fluoroelastomer sealants have excellent resistance to harsh chemicals. They’re non-sagging, so they won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces.

Elongation and joint expansion/compression tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. These sealants are best suited to joints between similar materials that aren't exposed to wide temperature fluctuation.

Viton® Fluoroelastomer—Viton® fluoroelastomer sealants resist sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, gasoline, fuels, and crude oil.

Aflas—Aflas sealants stand up to hydroxides, industrial cleaning fluids, and other pH-basic chemicals in applications where traditional rubber caulk is ineffective.

These non-sagging sealants will not drip while hardening on vertical and overhead surfaces. They’re thicker than most non-sagging sealants, so they can be used in vertical joints up to _1/2" wide.
