    Bolt these motors directly to conveyors and other machines to power equipment on food and sanitary lines. They help you meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) since they have many features that make them safe for sanitary and washdown environments. Smooth contours and a laser-marked nameplate limit the space where bacteria could grow. They don’t have feet, so they’re easy to rinse down thoroughly. A stainless steel enclosure, epoxy resin lined interior, and IP69 rating mean they withstand hot spraying water, harsh cleaners, and sanitizers common to food plants. A two-barrier seal keeps water from getting in through the shaft. If water does seep in, drain plugs let it out.
    These motors are also called C-face motors. They’re rated for continuous duty, so they’ll run equipment that never turns off. Inverter rated, they also work with variable frequency drive (VFD) to run at different speeds. You can wire for clockwise or counterclockwise rotation; instructions are included. Their conduit box also rotates to connect conduit from any side without needing to reroute power.
    Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) Motor Enclosure—TEFC (totally enclosed fan-cooled) motors have a fan that cools the housing.
    Totally Enclosed Nonventilated (TENV) Motor Enclosure—TENV (totally enclosed nonventilated) motors don’t need a fan or ventilation. They have even fewer places for water and contaminants to get in than TEFC motors.

    For versatility in food and sanitary lines, these motors mount by their feet or bolt directly to equipment to power pumps and other machines.     Washdown AC Gearmotors

    IP rated, these gearmotors stand up to high-pressure washdowns. They combine a motor with a speed reducer to lower speed while increasing torque. Their parallel shaft transmits motion inline with the motor.
    Since they’re inverter rated, you can adjust the speed with a motor speed control (not included). Wire these motors for clockwise or counterclockwise rotation; instructions are included.

    Face Mount—Face-mount motors bolt directly to your equipment. They require a power cord (sold separately).
    Totally Enclosed Nonventilated (TENV) Motor Enclosure—TENV (totally enclosed non-ventilated) enclosures are similar to TEFC motor enclosures, except they do not have a fan. They rely on air circulation from the motion of the motor for cooling.
    IP69K Enclosure Rating—Motors rated IP69K protect against dust, debris, and high-temperature washdowns.

    Install these switches in areas with oil, coolant, corrosive chemicals, and regular washdowns. They're rated IP69K and NEMA 4X and 12 or 12K. Since they’re already protected inside a housing, you can mount them to a wall if there’s no space left in your electrical panel. You need to grip and twist the lever to actuate, so they won’t accidentally turn on or off if something bumps into them. To lock them in the off position, attach a padlock (not included) to the lever. Use these switches to turn motors on and off, or with other circuits such as lighting and electric heat circuits. They do not provide overload protection.
    Polybutylene Housing—Switches with a Polybutylene housing can be turned into a handheld control for moving around your workstation by attaching a cord and cord grip. The housing won’t swell in moist environments.
    Power Indicator—Switches with a power indicator use LED lights to show the status of power flowing into the switch and power flowing from the switch to your motor. This can help you check for issues, such as a welded contact or phase loss, without having to open the housing.
