    Heavy Duty Harsh-Environment Power Cable

Image of Product. Front orientation. Power Cable. Heavy Duty Harsh-Environment Power Cable.
Delivering up to 2,000 volts in the harshest conditions, this Type W cable is often used in mining equipment and drilling rigs. It resists abrasion if you drag it across rocky terrain and won’t get crushed even when heavy equipment drives over it. The EPDM jacket stands up to chemicals, oil, and moisture. MSHA accepted, it meets mining safety standards, so you can rely on it where other power cables fail.

    Stranded

Stranded wire is flexible, so it’s pliable enough to be pulled around corners.
Wire with a nylon outer jacket resists oil and water.
THHN Cable—THHN wire can be used in dry or damp locations where wire is exposed to condensation or moisture, such as a basement.
THWN-2 Cable—THWN and THWN-2 wire can be used in both wet and dry environments.
UL 2556 VW-1—Flame rated VW-1 wire meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.

    Double Shielded

Made to TC-ER (Tray Cable, Exposed Run) standards, this crush- and impact-resistant cable eliminates the cost and hassle of installing conduit. It’s ideal for exposed runs, such as from a cable tray down to a control panel or motor control box. Support it every six feet to prevent sagging. You can flex and bend this cable during installation and adjustments, but it isn't made for continuous motion.
Unshielded—Choose unshielded wires when electromagnetic interference (EMI) isn't a concern. Equipment such as motors and pumps may have voltage fluctuations and current spikes that distort signals.
Double Shielded—With two layers of shielding, this cable offers better protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) than single-shielded cable. It’s often used near transformers, generators, and heavy-duty motors that may have voltage fluctuations and current spikes that distort signals.

    Outdoor Lead Wire

The EPDM insulation on this wire won’t become brittle or crack from sunlight, humidity, rain, temperature changes, abrasion from dirt and debris, and other rough outdoor conditions. It meets Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) standards for material quality.

SC Cable—SC wire is a good choice for temporary setups powering outdoor lights, equipment, generators, and power distribution boxes, since its thick insulation makes it easy to move and reuse. Commonly found at outdoor events, it’s also known as stage cable.
UL 2556 FT5—All are flame rated, so they meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test. FT5 wire is suspended horizontally during testing.

DLO Cable—DLO wire carries higher voltages than SC wire, making it the better choice for heavy duty applications. Use it to run power to motors, cranes, and other equipment in shipyards, mines, and oil- and gas-drilling rigs. Also known as diesel locomotive cable, this wire was originally designed to wire trains. An outer layer of chlorinated polyethylene plastic (CPE) gives it increased resistance to chemicals, heat, and flames. It’s also rated RHW-2, so it can be used underground and in wet locations.
UL 2556 FT4—All are flame rated, so they meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test. FT4 wire is mounted to a vertical tray during testing.

Transmit power in dirty, corrosive environments such as offshore rigs and ships. This cable is strong enough to resist crushing forces from heavy equipment. Its CPE jacket and tin-plated copper conductors maintain power in areas exposed to chemicals, oil, and salt water. It meets UL 1309 for high-performance marine cables, yet works just as well on land.

    Chemical-Resistant Continuous-Flex Lead Wire

Insulated with TPE, this wire won’t break down from oil, coolant, or chemicals, and it carries a strong signal even when repeatedly bent. This makes it great for greasy equipment on automated lines, such as lubricated cable carriers. Its insulation also stands up to moisture and sunlight, so you can use this wire outdoors. This wire is flame rated FT1, which means it meets requirements for preventing the spread of fire.

    Unshielded with 90° Torsion Angle

    Shielded with 180° Torsion Angle

Unshielded—Unshielded wire works in most applications. You can twist it 90° while pulling and bending it at the same time.
Shielded—Choose shielded wire if you need protection against signal interference from nearby equipment, such as variable frequency drives or small motors.
Spiral Shield—Spiral-shielded wire balances good signal interference and flexibility. It's the most flexible wire we offer, so it will bend, flex, and twist 180° without stretching or snapping.

    Aluminum Building Wire

Image of Product. Side1 orientation. Building Wire. Aluminum Building Wire.
Mend or extend aluminum wire often found in older buildings. This wire isn’t recommended for new wiring, since it’s more likely to overheat than copper when conducting electricity. However, it’s safer to maintain existing aluminum wire with aluminum rather than mixing materials. Building wire is also known as branch circuit wire.
This wire has an outer layer of nylon insulation that won't degrade from oil and water. It’s designed to be pulled through conduit without pulling lubricants. THHN and THWN-2 designated, this wire can be used in damp places.

    Corrosion-Resistant Battery Wire

Connect batteries in generators, forklifts, and other vehicles in corrosive environments. Also known as marine wire, this copper wire is tin plated to resist corrosion from salt water, battery acid, and oil. Designed for boats, it's a good choice for use outdoors. The PVC outer jacket stands up to fuel and oil. Wire strand count is the number of strands followed by the size of the individual strand.

Blocks with a screw-clamp terminal input wire connection have a current rating based on NEC table 310-16 using 75° C copper wire.
Extendable—Extendable blocks attach to each other to create custom-sized distribution blocks.
Jumper Cable Terminal—Blocks with a jumper cable terminal connect to other blocks to increase the number of outputs.
Detachable Cover—Blocks with a detachable cover prevent accidental contact with live circuits.
End Stops—End stops (sold separately) mount at the end of a group of blocks to prevent movement.
