    High-Strength Fiberglass Electrical Tape

Image of Product. Front orientation. Electrical Tape. High-Strength Fiberglass Electrical Tape.
Made with fiberglass for durability and abrasion resistance, this electrical insulating tape also withstands high temperatures. The cloth can absorb electrical insulating varnishes.
Rubber Adhesive—Bonds quickly when applied to a surface. This tape’s tacky grip offers a strong initial hold, but it won’t last as long as tape with acrylic adhesive and leaves behind residue when removed.
Acrylic Adhesive—Long lasting and solvent resistant. The adhesive won’t degrade when exposed to chemicals, oil, or prolonged UV light. Unlike rubber adhesive, it leaves behind little residue when removed.
Silicone Adhesive—Withstands the highest heat and maintains flexibility in extreme temperatures. However, this tape takes longer to adhere than other tape, so it’s not as easy to handle in routine applications.
ASTM E595—Tape that meets ASTM E595, a standard set by NASA, will produce almost no volatile emissions that could damage electronics, even in a high vacuum.
