Lanyards for hand tools are the standard option—they can be used on most tools in your toolbox.
Straight Lanyard—Straight lanyards have elastic in the webbing that stretches a little as you use your tool for ease of movement.
Coil Lanyard—Coil lanyards stretch to their full length and then return to their retracted length when you let go to prevent snags and tangles.
Wire Rope—Wire rope lanyards are more abrasion resistant than webbing lanyards. A rubber coating protects the stainless steel wire rope from corrosion.
Detachable-Elastic-Loop Connection—Lanyards with a detachable elastic loop let you swap out tools while leaving the anchor and lanyard setup in place.

Clip On—Attach clip-on glove clips around belt loops or directly to clothing.
Slide On—Slip slide-on glove clips over belts, waistbands, and pockets. They hold gloves in a higher position than the clip-on clips, which helps keep them from moving around.
Ball-and-Socket Safety Breakaway—Clips with a ball-and-socket safety breakaway rotate as you move, allowing the clip and gloves to stay in place. They also have large jaws, which can hold large gloves.

    Tool Tether Attachments

Tether almost any tool—these attachments add a ring for a lanyard connection. When used together with a lanyard and an anchor, they prevent tools from accidentally falling and hurting someone or damaging equipment below.

Clip-on attachments are for long-necked tools with wide ends, such as wrenches, pry bars, and hammers. The end of your tool needs to be wider than where the attachment point rests, so it won’t slip off. Made of stainless steel, they resist corrosion and are more durable than other attachments. They may slide up and down the tool as you use them. Add threadlocker to the pin to prevent loosening over time.

    Metal-Detectable Eyeglass Lanyards

Image of Product. Front orientation. Eyeglass Lanyards. Metal-Detectable Eyeglass Lanyards.
Made of dark blue, FDA-compliant rubber with metal additives, these eyeglass lanyards are designed to sanitary standards. They're safe for direct contact with food, easy to spot, and metal detectable if any piece falls into a batch. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for food safety. Use them to hang glasses around your neck and keep them from falling off. Compared to eyeglass lanyards made of fabric, they’re easier to clean and sanitize.
To attach these eyeglass lanyards, slide them onto the arms of your glasses. They fit reading and safety glasses. If they get caught in equipment, they’ll snap and break off to keep you safe.
