    Eyebolts—For Lifting

Create a secure attachment point for hooks, shackles, and other lifting equipment. Also known as machinery eyebolts, these eyebolts are used to lift heavy machines and materials. They have a closed eye that won’t bend under strain.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people. Capacities listed are for vertical lifting only.

    360° Swivel

Designed for angular lifting, hoist rings resist stresses that would bend or break an eyebolt. They have a lifting ring that pivots 180° front to back and a base that swivels 360° to compensate for pitch, roll, and sway when lifting heavy or unbalanced loads. Install the base of the hoist ring flush to the mounting surface and tighten to the recommended torque that is stamped on the ring. Torque wrenches are sold separately.
Note: Capacities listed are for vertical lifting only. As the lift angle changes from vertical, the amount of weight the hoist ring can lift is significantly reduced. For example, when lifting a 1,000 lb. load at a 45° angle, you must choose a hoist ring with a capacity of at least 1,400 lbs. Do not use at an angle less than 30°.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
High Visibility—High-visibility hoist rings are fluorescent green, so they’re easy to distinguish from other hardware when attached to equipment being lifted.
Machined—Machined hoist rings have a smooth finish to protect slings and hooks from damage and excess wear during lifting.
Black-Oxide Steel—Black-oxide steel hoist rings have mild corrosion resistance.
Nickel-Plated Steel—Nickel-plated steel hoist rings are more corrosion resistant than black-oxide steel hoist rings.
316 Stainless Steel—316 stainless steel hoist rings are the most corrosion resistant.
CE Marked—Hoist rings that are CE marked meet European safety standards.

Keep on hand all the parts needed to assemble custom hoist rings. Ideal for angular lifting, these hoist rings will withstand stresses that bend or break eyebolts. The base of these hoist rings will swivel 360° to compensate for pitch, roll, and sway when lifting heavy or unbalanced loads. The shackle will pivot 180° front to back. All parts have a black oxide finish for mild corrosion resistance.
Install the base of these hoist rings flush to your mounting surface. Use a torque wrench to tighten to the recommended torque stamped on the ring.

Create pivoting connections in applications that require high shear strength—the partially threaded shank of these rod end bolts withstands more side force than a fully threaded shank. Also known as swing bolts and eyebolts, they are used to create hinges, turnbuckles, and tie downs. Unlike ball joint rod ends, these rod end bolts are made from a single piece of metal, so they wear down more slowly and have a more controlled swing. However, because they do not have a moving ball joint, they do not compensate for angular misalignment. Made from steel, they are stronger and more wear resistant than stainless steel rod end bolts, but they are not as corrosion resistant.
Black-Oxide Carbon Steel—Rod end bolts with a black-oxide finish have a dark, matte coating that keeps the steel from rusting in dry environments.
DIN 444—Rod end bolts that meet DIN 444 adhere to international dimensional standards, ensuring they are compatible with other parts and tools.

These rod end bolts are good for wet and corrosive environments—for maximum mounting flexibility, cut the fully threaded shaft to whatever length you need. Also known as swing bolts and eyebolts, rod end bolts have no moving parts. They're designed to make pivoting or hinge movements in applications that don't need to compensate for misalignment.
304 Stainless Steel—303 and 304 stainless steel rod end bolts won't rust in humid, wet, and washdown environments. They're stronger than brass bolts and nearly as strong as steel. They will rust when exposed to salt water and chemicals, however.
DIN 444—DIN 444 rod end bolts meet an international standard for rod end dimensions.

    D-Shape

Image of Specification. 180° Pivot. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. 180° Pivot. Nonswiveling Hoist Rings—For Lifting, Nonswiveling.

    180° Pivot

The fixed base provides added stability and allows you to lift heavy loads with smaller thread sizes. Designed for angular lifting, hoist rings resist stresses that would bend or break an eyebolt. They have a lifting ring that pivots 180° front to back to compensate for roll and sway when lifting heavy or unbalanced loads.
D-Shape—D-shape hoist rings have a wider end than triangle hoists, so it’s easier to attach webbing and large hooks.

Pivot and hinge components in wet and corrosive environments with these stainless steel or brass rod end bolts. They're commonly known as swing bolts and eyebolts. With no moving parts, they're less likely to wear out than ball joint rod ends, although they don't compensate for misalignment as effectively. Use them to guide and connect components, such as tubing, or as a turnbuckle to tension wire and cable. They can also be used as tie downs and hinges.
With external threads, these bolts hold fast to female threaded components in applications where high shear strength is required, such as water pumps, alternators, and motor mounts. Because the shank is only partially threaded, they handle a greater amount of force from the side than bolts with a fully threaded shank.
Brass—Brass rod end bolts resist corrosion in humid and wet environments, but not as well as stainless steel bolts. They're also not as strong. Often, brass bolts are chosen for their look, or to match other components, such as hinges.
304 Stainless Steel—303 and 304 stainless steel rod end bolts won't rust in humid, wet, and washdown environments. They're stronger than brass bolts and nearly as strong as steel. They will rust when exposed to salt water and chemicals, however.

Easily slip these hoist rings in and out of threaded holes by pushing the button to retract their threads. Install them flush to your mounting surface. Ideal for angular lifting, these hoist rings withstand stresses that break or bend eyebolts.
All are CE marked, so they meet European safety standards.
180° Pivot—The ring on 180° pivot hoist rings moves from front to back. Their base does not swivel for added stability.
180° Pivot and 360° Swivel—180° pivot and 360° swivel hoist rings not only have a ring that moves from front to back, but their base also swivels to handle pitch, roll, and sway when lifting heavy or unbalanced loads.
