    Ceramic Hex Head Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Hex Head Screws. Ceramic Hex Head Screws.
Secure components in industrial furnaces, kilns, and other extreme-heat applications. These screws won't melt, seize, or become brittle, even at temperatures up to 3000° F. They're also good for cold temperatures. The head's six flat sides keep wrenches and sockets from slipping and rounding off the drive. However, ceramic screws may crack or dent from hard bumps and vibrations.
Length is measured from under the head.

    Insulating Sleeve Washers

Cover screw threads to stop electrical current in its tracks and prevent short circuits. These washers create a barrier between the screw threads and the mating surface when mounted in through holes. This barrier also extends the life of your assembly by preventing galvanic corrosion, which is when two different metals rust more quickly due to contact with each other.
    Flat Edge
Image of Product. Front orientation. Insulating Washers. Insulating Sleeve Washers, Flat Edge.
The flat edge distributes weight evenly to take pressure off screw heads.
Extra-High-Temperature Ceramic—Our most heat-resistant washers and the best electrical insulators. These won't melt or become brittle at blistering temperatures up to 1,700° F, making them perfect for ovens, kilns, and furnaces. Ceramic may crack or dent if subjected to hard bumps, however, so these washers are not recommended for high-vibration applications.

    Insulating Cup Washers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Insulating Washers. Insulating Cup Washers.
Cover screw heads or nuts to block electrical current and prevent short circuits. These washers isolate fasteners from sensitive surface-mounted components, such as capacitators and transistors on printed circuit boards. They also extend the life of your assembly by preventing galvanic corrosion, which is when two different metals rust more quickly due to contact with each other.

    Threaded Encased Ceramic Disc Magnets

Thread our most economical magnets into position, then readjust if needed. With built-in durability, a protective case shields these from cracks and chips caused by bumps and drops. Ceramic magnets deliver a cost-effective balance of corrosion and temperature resistance. However, they are not as strong as rare earth magnets.
Warning: Maximum pull ratings are based on direct contact with rust-free, unpainted iron surfaces. Variations in material condition will significantly reduce holding strength. Do not use for lifting over people.

Screw into tapped holes for secure mounting that’s also removable.
Zinc-Plated Steel Case—Withstands occasional exposure to moisture.
Nickel-Plated Steel Case—Offers similar corrosion resistance to chrome plating to withstand salt water and chemicals. However, nickel is more likely to wear off over time.
Powder-Coated Steel Case—The coating creates a corrosion-resistant barrier for outdoor applications.
