As you breathe in, they filter out metal fumes, harmful particles, and other contaminants. Throw them out when breathing becomes difficult or if they’re damaged or dirty. Rated N95, these respirators filter out 95% of solid particles. N95 respirators aren’t oil resistant. They’re the best choice for short-term use in areas with low levels of contaminants. To prevent your mask from filling with hot, humid air, they have an exhale valve that quickly releases your breath.

To achieve the N95 filter rating, you'll need a respirator that creates a tight seal with your face to prevent contaminants from entering through the sides. Pinch the adjustable nosepiece to tighten the fit over your nose. Choose the respirator that matches the style you have been fitted for.
