Flat Disc—The standard shape.
Grit—The lower the grit number, the rougher the finish and the duller the appearance. The higher the grit number, the more polished the finish and the more satin or mirrored the appearance.

Cool-Sanding Flap Wheels with Threaded Stud

An additive in the abrasive resists heat. The flexible flaps reduce gouging while producing a uniform finish on flat and curved surfaces. As the flaps wear, new abrasive is exposed. These wheels have a threaded stud that allows faster wheel changes but requires the use of an adapter (sold separately) in your tool.
