    Vertical-Mount Liquid-Level Gauges for Tanks

    For use with water, hydraulic fluid, and diesel fuel, install these gauges through the top of your tank. All have an indicator that moves up as the tank fills. To see how full your tank is and if you need to fill or drain it, check the indicator against the graduation marks. Plastic protects the indicator's movement, saving you from inaccurate readings.

    Install these gauges through the top of your tank to monitor diesel fuel, fuel oil, or gasoline level.
    Brass Center Shaft—Gauges with center shafts should reach ½” to 1” above the bottom of your tank to prevent it from touching the bottom.
    Aluminum Float Rod—Gauges with float rods are UL Listed for flammable liquids. For shallower tanks, cut the float rod ½” to 1” shorter than your tank depth to prevent it from touching the bottom.

    Using inches or centimeters instead of common levels, such as full or empty, these gauges are more precise than standard gauges when measuring liquid levels. While most gauges are designed for one tank depth, these have a float attached to a cable, so they work with any tank up to the maximum depth listed.
    Style A—Style A gauges come with labels, so you can record the measurements that correspond to common levels such as full, 1/2, and empty.
    Style B—Style B gauges have a dial with a small hand that displays feet and a large hand that displays inches. They come with labels to mark high and low levels on the dial face.
