    Metal-Detectable Write-On Labels

    Metal- and X-Ray-Detectable Lockout/Tagout Tags

    Designed for use with food and beverage, these tags remind workers to use lockout devices and procedures to prevent unexpected machine startups during maintenance and repair work while reducing the risk of contaminating the food. They contain metal and chemical additives that will set off metal detectors and show up on X-ray machines if they fall into your food processing lines. They’re also blue with a lockout label on each side, so they’re easy to spot. The labels, however, are not detectable if they peel or scrape off. Use these tags to help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for food safety. They’re FDA compliant for direct contact with food.
    Made of polypropylene, these tags are durable to withstand repeated use. Write on them with markers that are for use with food and beverage. A large hole makes these tags easy to hang.

    Dissolvable Laser Printer Labels

    Label, rinse, repeat. These labels disappear after 30 seconds of contact with water, leaving no residue. Use them to temporarily tag containers that you wash often, such as beakers and flasks. They’re steam resistant, so they won’t dissolve in an autoclave. These labels are FDA compliant for indirect contact with food. Run them through any standard laser printer.

    Metal-Detectable Cardstock Write-On Tags

    Label totes, ingredient bags, racks, and other items to keep your food processing plant organized. These tags are laminated with aluminum, so they’ll set off metal detectors if they fall into your line. They help you comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs to make sure contaminated food doesn’t leave your plant. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food. You can leave them attached to batches of food as they cook, unless the oven temperature exceeds 400° F. To help you follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), they come in several colors—use one color for each line or area of your plant to reduce the chance of cross contamination.
    Each tag has a top layer of cardstock that you can write on with a food-grade permanent marker or pen. The cardstock is durable; it resists water and chemicals. On the back, these tags have a glossy film that makes them hard to tear.
