Use these mitts for welding jobs that don’t require high dexterity. Since they have fewer separated fingers than gloves, they block more heat, and they’re easier to slip on or off. They also reduce the risk of pinky shrink, which happens when heat causes a glove’s pinky area to shrivel. All have a separated index finger so you can squeeze the trigger of your welding gun.

Reinforced Thumb—Mitts with a reinforced fingers, a palm, or a thumb have an extra layer of material to add durability in high-wear areas.
