Protect your hands from intermittent exposure to extreme heat during jobs that don't require high dexterity. Mitts are more convenient to put on and take off than gloves. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.
Fiberglass/Kevlar Fabric—Fiberglass/Kevlar mitts have good dexterity.
Kevlar/PBI Fabric—Kevlar/PBI mitts provide better abrasion resistance than the Kevlar aramid/fiberglass blend.
Zetex Fabric—Zetex mitts protect hands from exposure to nearby flames and heat.
Zetex Plus Fabric—Zetex Plus mitts protect hands from exposure to nearby flames and heat.

    Heat-Protection Mitts

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Gloves. Heat-Protection Mitts.
Protect your hands from temperatures up to 750° F. Good for jobs that don’t require high dexterity, these mitts are easier to slip on or off than gloves. If you’re switching between tasks, you can also put them on over gloves. They meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for heat resistance—they’re rated 5, which is the highest possible level of heat protection. These mitts have a layer of Kevlar between the thumb and pointer finger to increase wear resistance and extend their life. A water-resistant coating helps keep your hands dry.

    Cold-Protection Mitts

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Gloves. Cold-Protection Mitts.
Originally designed for arctic winters, these mitts protect your hands in temperatures as low as -45° F. Mitts keep your hands warmer than gloves but make it more difficult to handle objects. These mitts have an extra wide cuff that goes over your jacket sleeves so that no skin is exposed to cold. Tighten the strap to secure them in place. A hook and loop fleece patch sticks on the back—use it to wipe your glasses or warm up your cheeks without taking off the mitt. The fleece lining is removable for easy cleaning.

    Extreme-Temperature Clean Room Mitts

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Gloves. Extreme-Temperature Clean Room Mitts.
Handle everything from frozen samples to freshly soldered circuit boards without contaminating your clean room. These mitts protect your hands between -75° and 390° F. They don’t shed fibers, so your clean room stays clean. Compared to gloves, they’re easier to slip on and off—and they can even be worn over gloves—but aren’t a good choice when you need high dexterity. These mitts meet EN 374 standards for protection against chemicals.

Easy to pull on or off, these mitts are made for welding tasks that don’t require high dexterity. An aluminum backing shields your hands from radiant heat and sparks. The palm is leather for a balance of durability and comfort. These mitts have a separated index finger so you can squeeze the trigger of your welding gun.

Use these mitts for welding jobs that don’t require high dexterity. Since they have fewer separated fingers than gloves, they block more heat, and they’re easier to slip on or off. They also reduce the risk of pinky shrink, which happens when heat causes a glove’s pinky area to shrivel. All have a separated index finger so you can squeeze the trigger of your welding gun.
Cowhide Leather—Cowhide mitts balance durability and comfort.
Goatskin Leather—Goatskin mitts are soft, so you can feel finer details than other mitts.
Pigskin Leather—Pigskin mitts don’t stiffen when they’re wet.
Reinforced Fingers, Reinforced Palm, and Reinforced Thumb—Mitts with a reinforced fingers, a palm, or a thumb have an extra layer of material to add durability in high-wear areas.
Separated Middle Finger—Mitts with a separated middle finger give you more dexterity than mitts with only the index finger separated.
ANSI/ISEA 105—Mitts that meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards are rated for various forms of protection, such as resistance to abrasions and heat. The higher the rating, the greater the protection.

    Heavy Duty Cold-Protection Mitts

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Gloves. Heavy Duty Cold-Protection Mitts.
Tougher than standard cold-protection mitts, these mitts protect your hands from cuts and impacts as well as wintry weather. They’re packed with insulation to keep you warm while you work. To keep you dry, the leather exterior is treated for water resistance. A separated index finger makes it easier to grab and hold objects.
These mitts are rated to ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for resistance to cuts, abrasions, and punctures. The higher the rating, the greater the protection. They also meet ANSI 138 standards for impact resistance. Their EN 388 rating means they adhere to European standards for puncture resistance.

Protect your hands from wintry weather, frozen objects, and sharp edges. Easier to slip on or off than gloves, these mitts are a good choice for tasks that don’t require dexterity. All meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance. Their ANSI cut rating reflects the amount of force required to cut through them with a razor blade.
A4—Mitts with an A4 cut rating meet the common minimum cut rating for industrial applications. They’re good for jobs involving sharp-edged materials such as sheet metal and glass. An insulated inner layer provides extra warmth. They also have a separated index finger to easily grip and hold objects.
A6—Mitts with an A6 cut rating are safe to use with cutting blades, knives, and sharp wire.

    Cold- and Arc-Flash-Protection Mitts

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Gloves. Cold- and Arc-Flash-Protection Mitts.
Made for outdoor utility work, these mitts fit over your coat sleeves to shield you from arc flashes and harsh winter weather. They offer better arc protection than gloves but aren’t ideal for handling small parts. A separated index finger helps improve grip when you do need to handle smaller items. Packed with insulation to keep you warm and protect you from flames, they also have a waterproof lining to keep you dry.
These mitts meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against arc-flash hazards. Arc rating measures a glove’s ability to insulate the wearer from burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. They also meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for resistance to cuts and punctures.
