Highly Weldable Wear-Resistant 8620 Alloy Steel Sheets

Image of Product. Front orientation. Steel. Highly Weldable Wear-Resistant 8620 Alloy Steel Sheets.
Made of 8620 alloy steel, these sheets have low levels of carbon that make them easy to weld. High nickel, chromium, and molybdenum content make them resistant to wear. For even greater wear resistance, you can harden their surface with heat treating. They’re often used for wear plates and structural supports.

Made of 8620 alloy steel, these rods have low levels of carbon that make them easy to weld. Nickel, chromium, and molybdenum give them wear resistance. For even greater wear resistance, harden their surface with heat treating. These rods are often used to make high-strength gears, bushings, and shafts.
