With less carbon than 300M alloy steel, C300 machines more easily while remaining exceptionally tough. Strong and fatigue resistant, it withstands repeated stress without deforming or breaking. It also resists cracking if hit with a hammer or pressed into a hard surface. Choose it for parts that take a beating, such as dies, couplings, gears, and tool blocks. Also known as maraging steel and VascoMax.
