Medium-Strength Steel Nylon-Insert Flange Locknuts—Grade F
These locknuts have a nylon insert that firmly grips threads to resist loosening and a flange that distributes the load over a large area. They’re reusable, but their holding power lessens with each use. Made from Grade F steel, they're comparable in strength to Grade 5 bolts and are suitable for fastening most machinery and equipment. Height includes the flange.
Black-oxide steel flange locknuts mildly resist corrosion and have a dark surface color.
Zinc-plated steel flange locknuts resist corrosion in wet environments.
