Also known as flat stock, these precision-ground sheets and bars are held to a tight thickness tolerance. Often used for dies, punches, and gauges, O1 tool steel is an oil-hardening material that resists wear and abrasion.

These bars, also known as flat stock, are decarb-free for a uniform surface that will consistently accept heat treating.
Precision-ground bars have less stock to remove on the top, bottom, and sides for achieving a finished piece faster.
