A wide mouth makes filling these cylinders mess-free. Their conical shape spaces out the graduations, so small volumes are easy to read. The graduations are raised and won’t rub off with use. These cylinders are made of durable plastic, so they won’t break when tipped. They also resist most acids and bases and are autoclavable to withstand repeated sterilization.
Semi-Clear Polypropylene—The most economical choice. These cylinders are semi-clear and slightly wetting, which causes liquid surfaces to curve and make readings less precise.
Clear PMP—Get a clear view of markings and liquid levels. These cylinders are nonwetting, so liquids don’t cling to the sides. This keeps the surface level for accurate readings.
