The enclosure not only protects these switches, but also adds options for how you install them. Secure them to a wall or use the knockout to attach a cord grip and cord, so you can move them around your workstation. Made of polycarbonate plastic, the enclosure resists denting, chipping, and cracking. It’s also NEMA rated to withstand corrosion, washdowns, and spraying oil or coolant. Since you have to twist the lever to actuate these switches, they won’t accidentally flip if someone bumps into them. Choose switches based on their actuator color for an easy way to tell them apart.

Use these switches where ignitable gas, dust, and fibers may be present. They're UL and C-UL listed for hazardous locations.

Avoid accidental actuation—these switches won’t turn on or off until you grip and twist the lever. Install in a 16 mm dia. cutout. To help users identify switches without having to read labels, use differently colored switches for different tasks. Rated NEMA 4, 13, and IP65, all are protected from washdowns and oil/coolant spraying.

Make or break an electrical circuit. These contact blocks mount to manual switches and transmit an electrical signal when the switch actuator is engaged. You can stack multiple blocks, so a single switch can control several circuits. This is helpful in setups that require multiple systems to turn on or off at the same time. For example, the switch on a conveyor line could turn off the conveyor and turn on a diverter and alarm.

Print your own legend plates with any desktop thermal-transfer printer. The foam backing on these labels is flexible enough for printing, but still gives them a raised, finished look. The aggressive adhesive sticks to oily, dirty, or damp surfaces, and it stays put even with heavy use or regular cleaning. However, it’s more difficult to remove from surfaces than standard adhesives. These labels are only compatible with thermal-transfer printer ink ribbons.

Printer Ink Ribbons—Printer ink ribbons have a standard 1" roll ID. The ink is on the outside of the ribbon roll. To load, unroll the ribbon from the bottom, then feed it under the printer head.
