    Electric Chain Hoists

    Harrington

    Use the handheld control to effortlessly lift your load. Overload protection prevents hoists from operating if the load exceeds capacity. An electromagnetic brake provides quick, secure braking and works when there is no power.

    Hoists have a cool-running motor for continuous operation. The brake stops the load and holds it in place when you're not lifting.
    A filter-regulator-lubricator (not included) is required to lubricate the gears and clean and regulate the incoming air.
    Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
    Cast Iron Body—Cast iron hoists have a durable housing for longer life than aluminum hoists.
    Overload Protection—Hoists with overload protection will not operate when the load exceeds capacity.

    Variable-Speed Precise-Positioning Electric Chain Hoists

    Adjust lifting speed with the handheld control. Low speeds allow precise positioning; high speeds are for quick lifting. These hoists have an electromagnetic brake that provides quick, secure braking and works when there is no power. Overload protection prevents the hoist from operating if the load exceeds capacity. The maximum height limit switch prevents the load from hitting the hoist; the minimum height limit switch prevents the load from hitting the ground. All hoists have a power cord but do not include a plug (view our offering of plugs).

    Harrington NER series hoists have a speed control located directly above the hook, so you can use your free hand to help maneuver the load in tight spaces. Their highest speed lifts objects nearly twice as quickly as other variable-speed hoists, making them a good choice for production runs and other applications requiring frequent, fast lifts. However, they have a lower capacity and cannot lift loads as far as other variable-speed hoists. All have two fixed speeds.
