Hazardous Location Push-Button Enclosures

Safely house control switches, emergency stops, and indicating lights in areas with flammable gases, combustible dust, and ignitable fibers. These NEC-rated enclosures are often used to protect your people and parts from explosive risks in plants that handle or make fuel, bulk powders, and chemicals. Plus, they lock out water to keep your electrical components dry.

Lift-Off Cover—The removable, screw-secured cover is best for full access during setup or service, but not for frequent entry.

Aluminum—Best for housing sensors and other sensitive electronics where interference is a concern, these enclosures block wireless and radio signals. They’re also a rust-resistant alternative to stainless steel in wet areas.

Hazardous Location Enclosed Motor Switches

Safely turn motors on and off near ignitable gases and dust—the housing on these switches seals in anything that could ignite flammable material. Made from aluminum, the housing is lightweight and durable. It guards against water, oil, and other materials that could cause damage. Even in harsh conditions, there’s no need to mount these switches inside an electrical panel.

You need to grip and twist the lever to actuate these switches, so they won’t accidentally turn on or off if something bumps into them. In addition to starting and stopping motors, they work with other circuits, such as lighting and electric heat circuits. They don’t provide overload protection.
