    High-Strength Heat-Shrink Tubing

    PVDF tubing resists cuts from being dragged over rough surfaces, along with tears from stretching or flexing. It has an additive that makes it flame retardant, so it resists combustion and minimizes the spread of flames.
    SAE AMS-DTL-23053/8—SAE AMS-DTL-23053/8 tubing meets requirements for material quality.
    UL 224 VW-1—Flame rated VW-1 tubing meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.
    Dielectric Strength—Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.

    Thin-Wall High-Strength Heat-Shrink Tubing

    Even with walls as thin as plastic wrap, this PET tubing withstands tears and nicks. Thanks to its thin walls, it shrinks down in seconds instead of minutes and at lower temperatures than PVDF and FEP tubing. It also resists oil and grease. The sleeving is often used as a replacement for tape because it is durable and easy to install. Also known as Mylar tubing.

    Tight-Seal High-Strength Heat-Shrink Tubing

    Protect light bulbs, capacitors, and other electronics—this FEP tubing adds a tear- and cut-resistant layer that even contains shattered glass if the bulb breaks. Similar to shrink wrap, it tightly conforms to objects. It’s clear, so you won’t be blocking light, including UV light, from shining through if you use it on a bulb. This tubing also resists chemicals.
