6-Point Impact Sockets with Spline Drive

Attach these sockets to your spline-drive impact wrench. These tools are typically used where high torque is required, such as heavy equipment in the aerospace and automotive industries. The hex shape of the fastening end of these sockets achieves the best possible grip on hex fasteners to prevent rounding their points. These sockets are sturdier and have more give than manual-drive sockets, so they'll withstand the high torque and force of impact tools.

When you’re working with high torque, these wrenches keep the nut from turning as you tighten a bolt. You'll need a head and a handle to form a complete wrench. The head goes around the nut you want to hold stationary and the handle braces against an adjacent nut, absorbing the torque. They're often used when sealing large pipe flanges with a hydraulic torque wrench. Safer than striking wrenches, they stay securely on the nut until you release them.

Switch between two different-sized fasteners without swapping out your wrenches. The two heads save you time, while reducing the number of tools you need to keep on hand. Drop forged for added strength, these wrenches will be part of your toolbox for life.
Round Opening—The rounded edges spread force evenly to prevent stripping your fasteners. Use them on hex-head fasteners.
Chrome-Plated Steel—The most popular finish, these wrenches won't rust or chip. Although they withstand moisture better than black oxide, they don't hold up to harsh chemicals as well as stainless steel.
Dull—With a textured finish, these wrenches won't slip out of your hands, even when greasy or oily.

Adjust fasteners in tight spots such as motor housings, HVAC systems, and under sinks when you can't get a grip from the top. Slip around nuts and bolts from the side, unlike box wrenches that require more space to fit over fasteners. These wrenches are ASME or DIN certified—they handle more torque than run-of-the-mill alternatives and precisely fit fasteners so they don't round them off. Drop forged for added strength, they will be part of your toolbox for life.
Round Opening—The rounded edges spread force evenly to prevent stripping your fasteners. Use them on hex-head fasteners.
Black-Oxide Steel—The dark, matte coating protects these wrenches from wear and won't flake off. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, though, so they're best for dry environments.

Turn nuts and bolts without having to remove and reposition these wrenches. They're commonly used where you don't have enough space for full turns. To switch between loosening and tightening, flip them over.
12-Point Opening—The most common opening, these wrenches work on hex and 12-point nuts and bolts. They slide onto hex heads at more angles than 6-point fasteners for quicker engagement, but they're more likely to slip when you apply more torque.
Chrome-Plated Steel—The most popular finish, these wrenches won't rust or chip. Although they withstand moisture better than black oxide, they don't hold up to harsh chemicals as well as stainless steel.
Polished—The smooth surface is easy to wipe clean of grime. The mirror-like finish lends a high-end look to any toolkit.

Grip more of your fastener head with these wrench heads. They have a hex or 12-point opening with more surface area than rounded wrench heads, so they make more contact with fasteners for a better hold. Also known as flare-nut crowfoot wrenches or line wrenches, they're often used with flared tube fittings as well as fuel and hydraulic lines. Connect them to your socket extension and ratchet wrench to turn fasteners where clearance is limited from both the top and side. You can also attach one directly to your ratchet wrench to convert it into an open-ended ratcheting wrench.

Reach nuts obstructed by a fluid line or other barrier with the wrench heads in these sets. Connect them to a socket extension and ratchet wrench to turn fasteners where clearance is limited from both the top and side. You can also attach one directly to your ratchet wrench to convert it into an open-ended ratcheting wrench. Also known as crowfoot wrenches.

    12-Point

    Opening

Your go-to wrenches for routine maintenance. With two different ends, you need fewer tools to tighten and loosen nuts and bolts. The open end slides onto the side of fasteners for adjustments in tight spots. When nuts and bolts won't budge, the box end fully encircles them to apply maximum torque. Drop forged for added strength, these wrenches will be part of your toolbox for life.
Black-Oxide Steel—The dark, matte coating protects these wrenches from wear and won't flake off. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, though, so they're best for dry environments.
Dull—With a textured finish, these wrenches won't slip out of your hands, even when greasy or oily.

A 45° offset head provides clearance for reaching over obstructions. These wrenches have a long handle for extra leverage—add an extension to increase it even more.
Extension Handles—Extension handles (sold separately) fit securely over the end of the wrench.

Line up holes with the pointed end to smoothly insert bolts, then flip these wrenches over to tighten them in no time. They’re often used to align girders or beams in steel framing, repair machinery, and assemble pipelines. Also known as spud, structural, and construction wrenches.
Offset Head—The head and handle are angled, making it easier to maneuver around obstacles to reach fasteners in tight spots.
Black-Oxide Steel—The dark, matte coating protects these wrenches from wear and won't flake off. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, though, so they're best for dry environments.
Round Opening—The rounded edges spread force evenly to prevent stripping your fasteners. Use them on hex-head fasteners.

    Hex Opening

Stop struggling with thin, awkwardly placed fasteners tucked away in confined spaces. Use the 60°, 75°, or 80° angled head to reach around obstacles and apply more force without constant repositioning. The two heads save you time and reduce the number of tools you need to keep on hand. Also known as ignition wrenches.
Hex Opening—Snugly grip the sides rather then the corners of commonly used hex-head fasteners so they won't slip, even when the nuts and bolts are rusted or damaged.
Black-Oxide Steel—The dark, matte coating protects these wrenches from wear and won't flake off. They offer minimal corrosion resistance, though, so they're best for dry environments.

Twist thin fasteners in cramped spots where other wrenches are too bulky. With a head and handle about half as thick as standard wrenches, it's easier to grip nuts found in electrical enclosures and small machinery. These wrenches are ASME certified—they handle more torque than run-of-the-mill alternatives and precisely fit fasteners so they don't round them off. Drop forged for added strength, they will be part of your toolbox for life. Also known as check nut or service wrenches.
