An indicator dot changes from red to black when the screw is properly tightened. If it comes loose, the dot changes back to red. Also known as SmartBolts. Made from Grade 8 steel, these screws can be used in high-stress applications, such as valves, pumps, motors, and automotive suspension systems. The zinc yellow-chromate plating provides corrosion resistance in wet environments. Length is measured from under the head.
