This grease remains stable and in place under high pressure, heavy loads, and shock loads. It's often used for demanding mining, construction, and automotive applications.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 0 is about the consistency of brown mustard. NLGI 1 is about the consistency of tomato paste. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Weld load measures a grease's ability to withstand pressure in kilograms of force (kgf). The higher the rating, the more pressure the grease can withstand.
Mineral-oil-based grease, derived from petroleum, is usually more economical than synthetic-oil-based grease. Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and generally withstands a wider range of temperatures.
Grease with lithium thickener offers good heat and moisture resistance. Grease with aluminum thickener has good moisture resistance and excellent oxidation resistance. Grease with silica thickener has excellent heat resistance and good oxidation resistance. It also resists washing off and reduces corrosion in wet environments.
Grease with moly (molybdenum disulfide) and grease with graphite have excellent resistance to wear and can withstand high-load and high-pressure applications.
Grease that cannot be sold to California exceeds local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

This grease remains stable and in place under high pressure, heavy loads, and shock loads. It is NSF Registered H1 and FDA compliant for incidental food contact. It's often used to lubricate heavy-duty food production equipment.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Weld load measures a grease's ability to withstand pressure in kilograms of force (kgf). The higher the rating, the more pressure the grease can withstand.
Grease with aluminum thickener has good moisture resistance and excellent oxidation resistance. Grease with calcium sulfonate thickener has good heat resistance and excellent moisture and oxidation resistance. It cannot be sold to Cailfornia due to local regulatory limits on VOC (volatile organic compounds).
Grease with PTFE has small particles of PTFE that reduce friction and help the grease maintain its lubricity. Grease with zinc neutralizes acid and is a good replacement for leaded grease.

Often used with engine bolts and heavily-loaded, slow-moving gears, these lubricants are formulated with moly (molybdenum disulfide) to prevent parts from locking together under high loads and pressure. Also known as thread lubricants, antiseize lubricants prevent threaded fasteners and close-fitting parts from locking together due to corrosion, contamination, or heat.
Lubricants with aluminum have good corrosion resistance. Lubricants with nickel withstand extreme temperatures and harsh chemicals, such as acetylene and ammonia. Lubricants with graphite have good chemical and corrosion resistance. They’re often used with gears and splines under high loads at low speeds.
Bostik Never-Seez Blue Moly is often used with automotive engine bolts and in chemical-processing machinery.
