    High-Temperature Threadlockers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Threadlockers. High-Temperature Threadlockers, Bottle.

    Bottle

Prevent heat from loosening fasteners with threadlockers that resist temperatures up to 450° F. You only need a few drops to evenly coat threads. As you twist parts together, exposure to air is blocked and the threadlocker begins to harden.
Primer (sold separately) cleans the surface and decreases the time to reach full strength. It is recommended when working with aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium; black-oxide finishes; and cadmium and zinc coatings.
Medium Locking Strength—Strong enough for most applications, these threadlockers hold firmly until you break their bond with a combination or ratchet wrench.
High Locking Strength—Keep fasteners firmly in place in motors, pumps, and other applications subjected to heavy shock and vibration. Breaking the bond of these threadlockers requires a propane torch, heat gun, or induction heater. As a result, they shouldn't be used in setups that you disassemble often.
Thick Liquid—Fill larger gaps than thin liquids, so they're best for coarse or worn threads.

Keep fasteners joined at temperatures up to 650° F. Squeeze this paste onto threads and it won’t drip, even when applying to parts installed vertically or overhead. The bond begins to harden when you thread coated surfaces together, blocking exposure to air.
Primer (sold separately) cleans the surface and decreases the time to reach full strength. It is recommended when working with aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium; black-oxide finishes; and cadmium and zinc coatings.

Retaining Compounds for Oily Loose-Fitting Parts

Image of Product. Front orientation. Retaining Compounds. Bottle.

    Bottle

Even on oily surfaces, these retaining compounds keep their hold. Use them to fill gaps up to 0.015" to secure worn cylindrical metal parts such as shafts, bearings, and press-fit assemblies. These retaining compounds begin to harden once coated surfaces are pressed together, blocking exposure to air. They meet NSF/ANSI 61 safety standards for use with drinking water systems.
Primer (sold separately) cleans the surface and decreases the time to reach full strength. It is recommended when working with aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium; black-oxide finishes, and cadmium and zinc coatings.

    Threadlockers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Threadlockers. Threadlockers, Bottle.

    Bottle

The most commonly used threadlockers, these liquids prevent loosening due to vibration, bending, or improper torque.
Low Locking Strength—Often used in setups that require frequent disassembly, these threadlockers are easily released with the turn of a screwdriver or L-key. They give fasteners additional hold to keep them secure against light shock and vibration.
Thin Liquid—Seep into tight spaces better than thick liquids, so they're best for fine threads.
Military Specification—Mil. Spec. threadlockers are manufactured and tested to strict U.S. military standards.

Resistant to high temperatures, these threadlockers maintain a strong grip in environments up to 450° F. The thin liquid seeks out tiny gaps to bond fasteners that are already installed.

Reduce friction to protect threads and ease installation. These threadlockers are often used on large fasteners, which can be prone to seizing. They begin to harden when you thread coated surfaces together, blocking exposure to air.
Primer (sold separately) cleans the surface and decreases the time to reach full strength. It is recommended when working with aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium; black-oxide finishes; and cadmium and zinc coatings.
