Clip these lanyards onto a rated structure—they form their own anchor. They extend and retract as you move around, but with a sudden jerk, such as a fall, they immediately lock like a seat belt to stop you. They stop your fall within inches, unlike shock-absorbing lanyards that extend several feet. A built-in shock absorber reduces the jolt of the stop. Used together with a harness, they help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
Class 2—Class 2 lanyards are more versatile than Class 1 lanyards. Use them when the anchor is above, level with, or up to 5 ft. below your D-ring. Since they're made with Kevlar webbing or wire rope, they meet safety standards to prevent fraying or breaking if you fall near a sharp edge.
Hook-Over Anchor Point—Hook-over lanyards have a large snap hook, known as a rebar hook, that attaches directly to a rated structure such as a scaffold or pipe to create an anchor point.
Wraparound Anchor Point—Wraparound lanyards loop around a rated structure such as an I-beam and then attach to themselves to create an anchor point.
1 Anchor End Connection—Lanyards with 1 anchor end connection are best when you’re working in a single location.
2 Anchor End Connections—Lanyards with 2 anchor end connections let you move between anchors while staying tethered. Attach the new anchor point before disconnecting the previous one.
Webbing—Webbing lanyards are flexible and lightweight, so they won't weigh you down.

Made of inherently flame-resistant Kevlar, these harnesses withstand temperatures up to 800° F. They keep you safe when you’re working at height where heat and sparks could weaken your harness. The D-ring on the back keeps you upright if you fall. When used properly with a lanyard and an anchor, these harnesses help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
Impact-Indicating Stitching—Impact-indicating stitching is designed to tear during a fall or impact, so it’s easy to tell if a harness is still safe to use.
Lanyard Holders—If you have an unused lanyard, clip it to one of the lanyard holders to keep it from dragging or catching on nearby equipment.

    Electrical Arc-Flash-Resistant Fall-Arrest Harnesses

Made with Nomex or Kevlar, these harnesses withstand high heat and electrical arcs that could weaken a standard harness. They meet ASTM F887, so they're tested to hold up against arc flash hazards. Attach the D-ring on the back to a lanyard, and these harnesses will keep you upright if you fall. When used together with a lanyard and anchor, these harnesses help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.

Style B have padding on the back and shoulders for all-day comfort. Each leg strap has a handle on the back so you can pull yourself into a seated position if you fall. This relieves pressure on your legs and keeps blood flowing while you wait for rescue.
Impact-Indicating Stitching—Impact-indicating stitching is designed to tear during a fall or impact, so it’s easy to tell if a harness is still safe to use.

Maintain a stable working position on the sides of scaffolding and other vertical structures, even where flying sparks and high temperatures could weaken a harness. Made with Kevlar webbing, these harnesses won’t ignite when exposed to welding spatter, sparks, and high heat. Kevlar is strong and resists abrasions, so these harnesses last longer than standard harnesses. Clip positioning lanyards to the hip D-rings on these harnesses to stay close to your work and free up your hands. Attach a lanyard to the D-ring on the back, and these harnesses will keep you upright if you fall. Used together with an anchor and lanyard, these harnesses help you meet OSHA and ANSI safety standards.
