Medium-Wall (IMC) Steel Conduit

Also known as intermediate metallic conduit (IMC), this conduit is lightweight and strong. A smooth coating protects wire and cable from abrasion when being pulled. This conduit has one threaded male end; the other end has a threaded female connector.
5-ft. lengths can be shipped via small-parcel carrier.
Attach medium-wall (IMC) and thick-wall (rigid) steel conduit to a knockout in an outlet box or enclosure.
NPT female × NPSM male straight adapters are also known as hubs. They have an insulated throat to protect wire and cable from abrasion when being pulled. Use in wet or dry locations.

NPSM male × flanged end male straight adapters are also known as conduit nipples, chase nipples, and box adapters. The flange installs through a knockout from inside an outlet box or enclosure. Use with a locknut (not included) to create a short raceway between boxes or enclosures.

Reduce the knockout size in an outlet box or enclosure so you can attach a different size of medium-wall (IMC) and thick-wall (rigid) steel conduit to it. Two reducing washers are required per knockout.
