    Foam Cutting Kits

Image of Product. Front orientation. Foam Cutting Kits.
Cut and sculpt foam to make displays, packaging inserts, and prototypes. These kits include a hot knife for slicing through foam, a sculpting tool for carving, a freehand router with bendable wire for cutting out complex shapes, and a precision engraver for making intricate designs. You can work continuously on soft foam, but when cutting dense foam you’ll have to slow down and turn up the heat. Adjust the blade and wire temperatures depending on the type of foam you’re cutting.

    Hot Wire Bow Cutters

Image of Product. Front orientation. Hot Wire Bow Cutters.
Make steady cuts in large foam sheets and blocks. A lightweight, rigid frame on these handheld bow cutters can shorten from 4 to 2 ft. for better control when making shorter cuts. These cutters have a tensioned wire made of nickel chromium, which heats evenly and stays strong when hot to make repeated cuts without sagging. Adjust the wire temperature to suit the foam you’re cutting.
