    Nonsparking Awls

    Made of beryllium copper that is Factory Mutual approved, these nonmagnetic, corrosion-resistant awls inhibit sparking. Use them to punch soft materials and scribe lines in metal and wood.
    They satisfy OSHA requirements that specify nonsparking tools for locations where flammable vapors and combustible residues are present. Nonsparking tools are not, however, classified as antistatic because they do conduct electricity.
    Warning: Do not use these tools in direct contact with acetylene due to the possible risk of explosion. Never sharpen or grind beryllium copper.

    To limit hand fatigue, these multitools have pliers that spring open when you release the handles. Open them by pressing the lock buttons on both sides and sliding the pliers out without squeezing the handles together. These multitools also have a screwdriver that folds out to the center, so you can hold it like a standard screwdriver. This makes it easier to turn for more torque than other multitool drivers.
