Lever-Style Rivet Nut Tools with Visual Stroke Indicator

An indicator allows you to ensure your rivet nut installs correctly. Thread the rivet nut onto the mandrel, insert the nut into a drilled hole, and squeeze the handles to secure the nut. Mandrel and nosepiece sets are required and sold separately.

Tools with knob install rivet-type studs and smooth and ribbed body rivet nuts. They have a spin-to-reverse knob to quickly unthread the mandrel from the installed nut.

Tools with plunger install smooth and ribbed body rivet nuts. They have a quick-acting, pull-to-remove plunger that unthreads the mandrel from the installed nut.

Hydraulic/Air-Powered Rivet Nut Tools

Quickly install all styles of rivet nuts at 1.5-second intervals. The tool includes nosepiece assemblies to install M4, M5, M6, and M8 rivet nuts (additional sizes sold separately). To use, thread the nut onto the included mandrel and press the trigger to spin the nut onto the tool. Place the nut into the material and press the trigger to install the nut. Press the trigger one more time to spin the mandrel off.

Tools for Blind Rivets and Rivet Nuts

This tool has changeable nosepieces, anvils, and pull-up studs for installing rivets and rivet nuts. A self-contained hydraulic system delivers additional force to make installation easier. Choose the attachment that matches your rivet's diameter or nut thread size. To install a rivet, insert the mandrel into the nosepiece of the tool. Place the rivet in the material and squeeze the handles. The tool pulls the mandrel through the rivet's body, creating a secure hold on both sides of the material, and breaks off the excess mandrel.

Pull-up studs and driving anvils for 6-32 to 3/8"-16 and M3 to M10 rivet nuts are sold separately.

Twist-Resistant Rivet Nut Assortments

Everything you need to add threads to sheet metal, these assortments contain twist-resistant rivet nuts, mandrels, nosepieces, and a plier-style installation tool. The nuts have a ribbed body that grips surrounding material to hold them in place, keeping them from spinning as you tighten screws. They create reusable threads in surfaces that are too thin to be tapped. Also known as blind inserts, installation requires access to just one side of your material. The flange distributes the load and holds the nuts against the surface. All are steel with a zinc yellow-chromate plating to resist corrosion in wet environments.

To install, thread a rivet nut onto the mandrel, insert the nut into a drilled or punched round hole, and squeeze the handles to secure the nut.
