Plastic Washers for Rigid Insulation
Plastic washers resist moisture, chemicals, and friction and are good electrical insulators. These have a large surface that distributes holding pressure to reduce the likelihood of crushing insulation.
Washers with prongs enable pre-spotting into insulation for easy on-the-wall fastener assembly.
Washers with an insulating seal have a stiff center with a flexible perimeter that creates a barrier against air and moisture penetration when fastened to rigid insulation.

Steel Washers for Rigid Insulation
Steel washers provide a stronger bearing surface than plastic washers. These have a large surface that distributes holding pressure to reduce the likelihood of crushing insulation.

Drilling Screws for Joining Insulation to Metal
Also known as roofing screws, these screws are long and made from hardened steel to fasten rigid insulation board to steel decking. They save you time and effort by drilling their own holes and fastening in a single operation. Made from steel, they're coated to resist corrosion in wet environments. Length is measured from under the head.

Insulation Hanger Studs
Attach these hanger studs to a flat surface, then press your insulation sheets onto the spikes and secure with a washer (sold separately).
Plain-back studs install with adhesive (sold separately) to uncoated metal, concrete, and masonry. Apply adhesive at temperatures above 40° F.
Adhesive-back studs are for use on indoor metal surfaces.
